SIZE AND LOCATION
Company is based in Ghana, West Africa. It is the parent organisation of several local Cultural Dance Groups scattered across the regions of Ghana.

ORIGIN OF THE DANCE COMPANY
A few years ago, Mr. Bernard Adewu was contacted by representatives of an American organisation to mobilise talented Ghanaians to teach African Drumming and Dancing. Being a very big project that is to teach across continents Mr. Adewu was to find about 850 people. Several groups were organised and teachers were assigned to them. This project has grown beyond our imagination. Many organisations and institutions have benefitted from this project. Serious training and rehearsals have been going on as more talents keep joining us.

UNBEATABLE SKILLS AND MASTERY
Our members are so professional that students from the University of Ghana, Legon come to our training grounds for extra training because even the National Dance Theatre cannot compete with us.

Aims and Objectives

  1. We aim at preserving the ORIGINALITY of our ancestral and traditional dances. Most of the dances performed these days are innovations and choreographies. But we seek to preserve what has been handed down and also in the process of keeping the records.

  1. To show the outside world the beauty of African Dances and to practically demonstrate to explain the difference between African Dance Drumming and Western Music.

  1. To portray Ghana, our motherland as a country full of rich cultural traditions.
